About us

At datakiln, we specialise in helping organisations that work for the public good — across academia, government, and the third sector — make the most of their data.

We are a small team with extensive experience in data analysis, dashboard and tool development, and delivering training in coding and software skills. As active academics with a background in social and health research, we bring a unique combination of technical expertise and real-world insight. This enables us to create solutions that are not only technically robust but also sensitive to the challenges faced by organisations working with messy, human-centred data.

Our aim is to support organisations that make a positive impact, providing reliable and approachable expertise every step of the way. Whether you need to build your team’s technical skills or develop tools to simplify complex tasks, we’re here to help you achieve your goals.
